2025 Hall of Fame Class Inducted

Oklahoma City, OK — January 31, 2026 — The Oklahoma tennis community gathered this past weekend to celebrate two outstanding contributors to the sport as Julius Lubicz and Steve Henry were officially inducted into the Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame on January 31.


The induction ceremony honored Lubicz and Henry for their lasting impact on tennis in Oklahoma through years of dedication, leadership, and service to the game. Their achievements reflect not only competitive excellence, but also a deep commitment to growing and supporting tennis at all levels across the state.


Julius Lubicz has been widely respected for his influence on player development within the tennis community and his accomplishments as the Head Women's tennis coach at Oklahoma State University. His work has left a meaningful mark on countless athletes and programs throughout Oklahoma.


Steve Henry was recognized for his significant contributions to tennis through leadership, mentorship, and advocacy for the sport. His efforts have helped strengthen tennis organizations and expand access to the game for players of all ages. Henry served as President for USTA Oklahoma and USTA Missouri Valley.


Induction into the Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame represents the highest honors in the state’s tennis community, recognizing individuals whose contributions have shaped the sport’s history and future.


The Oklahoma Tennis Hall of Fame congratulates Julius Lubicz and Steve Henry on this well-deserved recognition and thanks them for their enduring commitment to the game of tennis.
