Andrew Jackson Kisner

Dr. Andrew Jackson "Jack" Kisner was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  He graduated from Northeastern State University in 1921 and was a letterman in basketball and a three year letterman in tennis.  He was the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Conference Tennis Champion in 1932; a member of the USA Gordon Cup Tennis Team; tennis coach at Northeastern State University for 17 years; Northeastern State University Alumnus of the Year in 1982; inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Northeastern State University in 1988; winner of untold number of Oklahoma State and Missouri Valley Tennis Championships in singles, doubles, and father-son doubles; and several times ranked # 1 in the Missouri Valley in singles and doubles in various age divisions.
